Come join us on Wednesday, February 5th at the Library to Graph Your Garden. This is a FREE program. All you need to bring are the measurements of your planting space. Browse our seed library and decide what you want to grow, then graph it out and get it all to fit! It’s harder than you think. Graph paper is provided. There are NO printing fees for this program. Come join me, Samantha, the second Saturday of the month for Read & Play. This storytime is geared towards ages 1.5-4, but if you know child best, and we will welcome other ages. We have added new elements, including a felt story board, and free time play activities. We will also have wiggle breaks, including some freeze dancing. Can’t make a Saturday morning storytime? Check back close to March, as a weekday morning session is in the works!
Looking for something to do with the kids during February break? We will be offering two different Make A Sensory Bottle sessions. This is a FREE program. We will provide the bottles, and a large assortment of mix ins, including: buttons, princess buttons, winter or spring themed buttons, sports buttons, and many other button choices. Chunky glitter. Fine glitter. Confetti. Reservations are required. Reservations can be made by calling the library: 607-522-3490.
Let us worry about dinner, one night a month. On the third Friday of the month the Library will supply dinner, dessert, and water. Come enjoy a dinner, that you didn’t have to prep. After your family is done eating, you can sit and relax and we will entertain the kids. Our Switch consoles, and Virtual Reality system are available to the kids, and we also plan a non-electronic activity. Garden Workshop: Seed Tapes & Newspaper Pots. Come join me on Wednesday, Feb 19th, or Friday, Feb 28th from 6:00-8:00. During this workshop I will show you how to make your own seed tapes and newspaper pots. You will also have time to browse our seed library, make your own seed tapes, and make your own newspaper pots. Seed tapes have the seeds already spaced out so there is no thinning required, and no wasting seeds. Seed tapes are great for carrots, lettuce, radishes, and anything that you plant in rows with small spacing.
