Be a Patron!
A significant measure of a library’s success is it’s usage, so come on down and see what your favorite authors have been up to, or attend one of our events. You won’t be disappointed!
Spreading the Word
Changes at the library are on-going. Perhaps you know someone who has never even set foot in our library, or doesn’t know about our wonderful programs. Tell your friends about an upcoming program, a service you found helpful or even just the latest books we’ve received or have available online.
The Prattsburg Free Library has many volunteer opportunities available. Volunteers assist the staff in meeting the educational, informational, and cultural needs of our local patrons. Time donated by volunteers helps our staff to better meet the needs of each individual library user. Library volunteers are given many different responsibilities. Volunteers may enjoy any one of the following tasks:
- Shelving returned items.
- Rearranging and straightening our bookshelves periodically.
- Assisting with children’s programming
- Teaching our computer classes
- Marketing and communications.
- Teaching community programs.
Volunteers are asked to complete a volunteer application. If interested please inquire at the library or call (607) 522-3490. If you would like to donate time and energy, spearhead a project-in-development, or even give some time to our popular Story Hour for Children, please contact us at the library.
